Getting ready to shop and Thanksgiving

M is in the shower.  After he gets out, we're out the door, going shopping!  In Pennsylvania, no less.  I want to see the sewing machine Jessica wants for Christmas before I buy it, and I like the shop in East Stroudsburg, besides, it's a lovely drive.
The week was very busy at work.  Somehow there was absolutely no time to blog or even do a lot on the computer besides writing bills (not a complaint!).
We did see Jessica and Matthew, and I talked to Evan on the phone briefly, it's so cute!  To hear that little voice say 'I love you' just melts your heart.

Anyway, as always in a hurry, here are some photos of the banana bread I threw together this morning from very ripe bananas.  I already have orders to share it with the kids.
Last night we went out to dinner with a friend (I met her when our boys, now 37, went to kindergarten together!) and her husband.  It was lovely!  I'm so grateful to have all these terrific people in my life.
Oh, almost forgot, Thursday is Thanksgiving.  Somewhere we have to find the time to plan the menu and shop for it.  This afternoon, if we are back soon enough, we go to Matthew's last soccer game for the season.  His team is undefeated!
German later!
