Hiking again!

Finally, after a long, long time we made it into the woods again.  The last time we went, I don't think the leaves were out yet.
Endlich, nach langer, langer Zeit gelang es uns, wieder in den Wald zu gehen.  Als wir das letzte Mal wandern gingen, waren die Blaetter noch nicht an den Baeumen.

 Interesting light on the - what is/was it?  A puddle?  a small brook?  I think it was a small brook.
Interessantes Licht auf dem - was ist es?  Eine Pfuetze?  Ein kleiner Bach?  Ich glaube, es war ein kleiner Bach.

 This were the creatures we met on the way, the frog and the salamander

Das waren die Geschoepfe, denen wir begegneten, der Frosch und der Salamander

 And this landscape, which one can only reach on foot or by dirt bike

Und diese Landschaft, die man nur per Fuss oder per Dirt Bike erreichen kann.

 Someone was very curious

Jemand war sehr neugierig

 In the water in the reservoir, turtle eggs?

Im Wasser, im Reservoir - Schildkroeteneier?

 And what kind of plants are these?  M thought mushrooms, but I think it's something different.

Und was sind das fuer Pflanzen?  Oben, die weissen.  M meinte Pilze, aber ich glaube es ist etwas anderes.

And I loved the ferns in the light and shadow.

Und ich liebte das Farnkraut im Licht und Schatten.
